$45.66 - $52.49 per hour + salary packaging & super | Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 (Residential Aged Care Services)

Fixed Term Part Time 0.6 EFT (22.8 hours/week) until June 2027

About the Role
Applications are invited from suitably experienced Occupational Therapists for this exciting position available at Grampians Health Ballarat working with our Occupational Therapy team across our Care Communities. The successful applicant will work with a varied and challenging clinical caseload with a strong focus on person-centred care, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This role will support an Occupational Therapy service framework embedded in the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards (2024), and create a wellness-focused, restorative model of care that empower residents to live their most meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess resident goals, function and care needs

• Deliver evidence-based, occupation-focused therapy

• Prescribe equipment for complex care requirements

• Provide cognitive and functional rehabilitation

• Partner with families and residential care teams

• Supervise students and mentor Occupational Therapists

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration (or eligible)
• Experience in community or aged care settings
• Skills in assistive tech and funding pathways
• Ability to supervise students or staff
