Fixed-Term Full-Time (12-Month Contract) | 80 Hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO
$48.87 per hour (HS5)
About the Role
The Capital Project Teams is seeking a suitably qualified Project Manager to join us. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager(s), this role will be based predominately out of our Ballarat Campus, with the ability to work and travel across all Campuses when required.
The project manager will support the delivery of the current program of works, as well as future projects. This role reports into both planning and delivery arms of the Capital Projects team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development and delivery of capital infrastructure projects to achieve agreed scope, quality, budget and time objectives.
- Manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, planning, design, procurement, delivery, commissioning and close-out.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers and governance documentation to support successful project outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, operational leaders, consultants, contractors and government agencies.
- Coordinate consultant and contractor activities to ensure project objectives, quality standards and compliance requirements are achieved.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through planning, design, procurement, delivery and close-out phases.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and service providers within a project environment.
- Experience working within healthcare, government or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded.
