About the Role
Grampians Health Early Parenting Centre (EPC) has multiple Parental Leave vacancies available until late 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your nursing career in a specialist family focused service, supporting parents and carers to achieve their parenting goals. Working within a nurse-led multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality, person-centred care, education and early intervention to support the health, wellbeing and development of children and families across the Grampians region.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based care, assessment and education to families

Support child health, wellbeing and early development outcomes

Provide early intervention for factors impacting family wellbeing

Work across day stay, home stay, group and outreach programs

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external services

Undertake in-charge responsibilities when required
Skills & Experience
-
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Clinical experience in early child health and development
-
Ability to support families to achieve their parenting goals
-
Strong communication and person-centred care skills
-
Ability to work a rotating roster across days and nights

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $42.60 - $54.40 per hour.
