Ward Clerk - Early Parenting Centre

$30.75 - $38.84 per hour (dependant on experience) + salary packaging & super | Patient Services Clerk

Permanent Part Time | 32 hours per week

About the Role

The Early Parenting Centre (EPC), based in Lucas, is a dedicated facility supporting mothers, fathers, carers, families, and children up to four years of age. Grampians Early Parenting Centre delivers a comprehensive range of services through a nurse-led, multidisciplinary care team, focused on strengthening parent–child relationships and supporting families to achieve their parenting goals.

This position is responsible for processing admission and discharge at Grampians Health Ballarat. It includes reception, patient registration, capture of patient movements and supporting the patient journey administratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Reception duties and first-point-of-contact support
• Patient registration and admissions
• Processing discharges
• Accurate recording of patient movements
• Providing general administrative support to enhance the patient experience

Skills & Experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
• Adaptability and openness to change
• High-level computer skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Demonstrated proficiency across a range of computer applications
