Nurse Unit Manager - Emergency Horsham

About the role 

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Emergency team as the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the Emergency Department located at our Horsham Campus.  The NUM will be responsible for providing sound inspiration, leadership and management to the Emergency services multi-disciplinary team, with a focus on the growth and enhancement of Emergency services within the Grampians Health network. The Emergency team at Grampians Health have a well-deserved and strong reputation for innovation providing evidence-based care for our patients located across Western Victoria.

Skills and experience 

• 2-3 years leadership and people management experience

• A quality and risk focused approach to decision making 

• Post graduate qualifications in management or working towards same (desirable)

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (NM10 – NM12) which ranges from $69.38 - $74.45 per hour
